I was very pleased with the Lawn Doctor. I have never had a service at my home and my lawn showed it. I tried for 20 years to do the Scotts do it yourself program with a spreader and missed applications. Saw lines in my yard and just could not kill the chick weed. Since I met Pam at the Home and Garden Show in the spring and signing up for the service I have been extremely pleased. I did not get the airiation on the first sign-up but finally decided to do it and glad I did. I now will put down grass seed this winter as the snow fly's and melts and hope next year I will see new grass growing in the spring. The young man that serviced our yard today was really on task. I’ve never seen such a thorough worker. I found myself watching him from the windows of my home. He road some type of spreader vehicle around the yard. Then he got off of that machine and grabbed a portable sprayer. It looked liked he was personally killing weeds. He got back on the tractor and drove around the yard some more. I later saw him from a front window and saw him blowing the leaves from my driveway and sidewalk. I thought that was incredible! Then I begin to wonder how much Lawn Doctor was going to charge me for that. All of the people you send out do their job, but this guy actually seemed to enjoy it. GIVE THAT GUY THE $10.00 DOLLARS. When we bought our current house, the prior owners had done NOTHING to the yard since the house was built in 1999. Add to that... the builder stripped and sold all the topsoil before building the houses in the community. Needless to say, we had pretty much nothing but weeds on clay and rocks. I tried 2 or 3 other companies but could see no progress. We started using Lawn Doctor about 4 years ago. After the first year, the lawn was looking much better and the grass was starting to choke out the weeds. After the second year, we had a full grassy lawn and few weeds. It has consistently improved year to year. Lawn Doctor has done a great job at both of our properties, and I highly recommend them. ~ James K
